Tangy Fruit Salad
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Serves: 6-7
Ingredients:
1. Apple (large) : 1 (diced)
2. Pineapple (medium) : ½ (diced)
3. Oranges (medium): 2 (segmented)
4. Banana (medium) : 1 (diced)
5. Papaya : ½ cup
6. Kiwi : 2 (diced)
7. Pear (small) : 2 (diced)
8. Grapes : ½ cup
9. Cherries : 10 (slices)
10. Fresh mint leaves : 10
For The Dressing:
1. Lemon juice : 1 tablespoon
2. Sugar : 1 teaspoon
3. Roasted cumin seeds (crushed) : ½ teaspoon
4. Red chilli flakes : ½ teaspoon
5. Black peppercorns (crushed) : 5-6
6. Salt to taste
How to prepare:
1. Mix all the fruits together in a big bowl.
2. Now in a separate bowl mix lemon juice, sugar, salt, cumin seeds, red chilli flakes and black peppercorns.
3. Now pour the dressing on the fruits and toss well to mix.
4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and serve!

1. 2 cups curd
2. 3/4th cup cream
3. 3-4 teaspoon powdered sugar
4. ½ teaspoon black pepper powder
5. 3 medium-sized green chillies (chopped)
6. 2 boiled carrots (finely chopped)
7. ½ cup cabbage ( finely chopped)
8. 1 onion (finely chopped)
9. ½ cup cherry (optional)
10. 4 walnuts ( finely chopped)
11. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
12. ½ cup pineapple (finely chopped)
13. ½ cup boiled peas
14. 3 tablespoon milk
15. Salt to taste
How to prepare:
Take a very thin, soft cotton cloth or muslin cloth and put curd in to it. Tie it tightly and hang it for 2-3 hours to drip out excess liquid from it.
After 3 hours, take out curd in a bowl and stir it. Now add cream, sugar, milk, salt, black pepper and lemon juice to it. When this batter is ready, add all the chopped vegetables to it and keep it in refrigerator for 15 minutes. After cooling, add walnuts and fruits to it.
Use pineapple pieces and jelly to decorate while serving. And this mouth-watering nutritious salad is ready to relish!
